Mike Valyo

Mike Valyo is an ACE Certified and Titleist Performance Institute Certified Personal Trainer. He graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Mike was an avid baseball player during his younger years and played baseball while attending Bishop Shanahan High School. Mike played golf casually with his father, who was a member at Phoenixville Country Club, but seriously took up the game while at Penn State. After graduation, Mike began his career as a personal trainer and became a TPI golf fitness instructor. After a couple years, life took Mike in a different direction and he became a Police Officer, where he served the residents of East Pikeland Township and Schuylkill Township, Chester County, for 15 years. Mike never lost the love of the game of golf and he played as much as he could, joining Phoenixville Country Club and progressing his game to a single digit handicap. During this time, Mike gained a new-found fire for health and fitness and golf coaching, leading him to XFlex Golf.
